Furniture should enhance the beauty of your deck, yard, or garden; which is why plastic and aluminum chairs are designed to stack and fold for storage. That means we can get them put away and stored out of sight as quickly as possible. Replacement patio furniture, such as my hand-built Western Red Cedar furniture and accessories, are designed for the purpose of adding the natural beauty of wood to any outdoor location. All my furniture, ranging from my all wood Folding Deck Chair to the chair that evolved in upstate New York, the Adirondack, are all designed and built to be comfortable and to truly enhance and beautify your outdoor experience for many years to come.
My wood-working history starts when I was in high school where I apprenticed in an Amish cabinet shop. After eight years in the United States Navy, I opened my own cabinet shop in San Diego, CA. After several years I moved to southern Arizona where I continued to build cabinets and expanded into building furniture. I retired in 2006 in Wisconsin, and continue to build the furniture you see on this web site, which is Western Red Cedar Deck Furniture and other useful home, deck, and yard items.
All my patio products are manufactured using hand-selected 1 inch thick Western Red Cedar, stainless steel hardware and rust proof screws. All products are smoothly sanded and delivered pre-finished with Boiled Linseed Oil. This oil finish not only helps waterproof the wood and extend its life, it also makes the wood grain much more distinctive and beautiful.

Due to the many differences in sizes, weights and shipping locations, and my inability to arrive at a fair and equitable method of shipping to all customers (and myself) using the automated on line services, I will regress to the old fashioned method. I realize this may seem inconvenient, but to be fair to all and get you the lowest possible cost for shipping, I have decided to use the following procedure.

Of course if you live close enough to Superior, or just really feel like a road trip, you always have the option picking products up at my shop.

Comes standard with your choice of finishing stain. Finished using stain, shellac and wax.
Has felt dots on bottom to prevent scratching.
Glass is installed using hot melt glue and has a Masonite back installed with screws that can be sealed to prevent dust from entering the Memorial Flag Case.

These outdoor plant hangers are great patio accents. Easily mounts to any wood post. Some customers have sunk a 4/4 post in their yard and made a plant tree. Others are even using them inside their homes. The wood hangers can hold most sizes of clay pots. Some plastic pots will also fit but not recommended (dirt weight & heat might stretch or break pot).
The plant hangers are made of Red Cedar, and they attach to any wood post with two rustproof screws(Supplied). The clay pot hangers can also be attached to chain link fence posts by drilling and tapping for machine screws (not supplied).

Here is the chair for your deck or yard that will have you outdoors in great style. It’s a modified Adirondack type chair that is higher off the ground with only a 10 degree slant to the back and a very slight curve in the seat. Very easy to get into and out of, and doesn’t take up a lot of square feet. (You can get more of them on your deck). More of a conversation type chair than my others which were designed to kick back and snooze away an afternoon.
Seat is 20 ¾” wide and is 17 ¾” off the ground.
