Home of Hand-Rolled Potato Lefse
Here at the Taylor Bakery, we have been making Grandma Kling's recipes from scratch daily to provide you with the best home-made products around. Our hand-rolled potato lefse, cookies, and bars are made from our kitchen fresh starting at 4:00 a.m. daily and are never frozen. You will be able to taste our motto, "Make Grandma proud," in every bite!!
Kling's Old Fashioned Lefse is hand-rolled from real potatoes daily. Lefse is a Norwegian product, similar to a Mexican flour tortilla, made primarily from potatoes. Lefse is typically buttered and sprinkled with sugar, then rolled up and eaten. Kling's Old Fashioned Lefse has no preservatives or additives. Everyday, we arrive at 4:00a.m. to start peeling all the Russet Potatoes for use in our home-made lefse which is then hand-rolled.
Kling's Old Fashioned Lefse is currently being sold at Cenex Franchises in Sparta, Whitehall, Northfield, and Hixton; All Woods Grocery Store in Black River Falls; Dale's in Merrillan; and Festival Foods in La Crosse as Festival's signature "Mom's" Lefse.
